It's kind of sad that this has taken me all summer to tell you about. But I just want to get it over with and move on to other things, lol.

Day 9-
So basically for 2 hours today, we rolled gauze at the clinic. That was the highlight of the day, no joke. Ate lunch in a DR restaurant. Alba talked about how she plans on marrying Jaunchy! (pic is of them). Had 'team time' tonight. We played this animal card game. You have to make animal sounds. We sounded crazy but it was hilariously fun!

Day 10-
I stayed at the base today.... I was sick. Two other girls in my room also stayed behind. But by night, I felt better and got to go on the community outreach. It was fun. A lot of kids came. We played some games (Simon says, steal the bacon), had a clown act (and he made up the funniest spanish song ever!.... you can hear it sometime... Marissa and I have it on tape:)

Day 11-
I worked with Alba and helped translate for Cammy today. All of the girls in my room shared their testimonies tonight. It was a very powerful and friendship building night. It was one of the best experiences of this whole trip.

Day 12-
We left at 9am.. but never actually made it to the medical site of the day until 1030ish. We had to stop at many places and pick of a lot of things. There were so many people at this house waiting to be seen. I was in charge of taking blood pressures. I took over 30 people's bp's in 2 hrs. It was out of control. We left at 1-ish and had to turn patients away because we had to get back to the base. It was sad. We had a banquet tonight. Full of good food, laughs, and rain. I was soaking wet from the semi/truck ride over :(

Day 13-
Plane rides! One lasted 1.5 hrs and the other 5.5 hrs. I didn't want to leave. Marissa and I stalled as much as possible. But eventually we had to get in the van to go to the airport. On our way to baggage claim in Cinci, Marissa and I sprinted to the nearest Starbucks and got our delicious mocha frapachinos. Simply Amazing. Here ends the trip, lol. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have, well, experienced. I came back so much closer to God and with an idea of what missionary doctors do.

The End. It didn't take that long to accomplish this... it's only been 2months since I got back, lol. At least I finished before Marissa :)

Marissa, this pic is just for you, haha.
