Ladies and Gentlemen....

Allow me to introduce you to the 2007 Feats of Clay mug making team a.k.a. future champs of the Ohio region competition.

We are that cool.

The first day of practice we made a mere 12 mugs.....

last Friday (5 practices later) we made a whopping 78 mugs. That the highest any team has ever made at FM in practice or the actual competition.

Friday is the big day. I know we will work well under the stress b/c we tend to do a lot better when we are yelling a each other and bickering about little things during the actual competition.

In the pic: Tyler (purple) is the wheel master. He actually makes the mugs. Logan (silver) is the handyman, he fills in where ever we yell at him to go. He can fix anything Tyler messes up. Amy (middle back) is the handle putter on-er. She rolls out coils and puts then on the mugs. As for me (far right) I measure out 3/4 lb. balls of clay and make them into a perfect round cone for Tyler.

I'm pretty excited about Friday...the day of the actual competition....I'll have lots of messy pics of us there on here after I get back:) Wish us luck!
